Product description

FURADERM is a cream for topical application containing hydrolysed hyaluronic acid (obtained from a plant substrate) as its main ingredient.

Hyaluronic acid is a natural component of the extracellular matrix of the body’s tissues. Due to its hydrophilic properties, it acts as a structural support and ensures tissue tonicity and elasticity, providing a hydrated medium between cells and thus facilitating their migration.

It helps maintain a moist wound environment, promoting and accelerating the process of re-epithelialisation and tissue repair.

Ingredients

Glycerol monostearate, polyethylene glycol stearate, lauroyl macrogolglycerides, propylene glycol dicaprylocaprate, propylene glycol, hydrolysed hyaluronic acid, phenoxyethanol, benzoic acid, dehydroacetic acid, sodium hydroxide and purified water.

Indications

Treatment of skin irritation and lesions (acute and chronic wounds):
• Abrasion, superficial cuts, scratches.
• Hypertrophic scars, keloids and dryness due to radiotherapy.
• Areas where tissue has been removed for grafting.
• Wounds resulting from surgical procedures.
• First- and second-degree burns.
• Vascular and metabolic ulcers.
• Pressure ulcers.

Posology and directions for use

- Wash hands before and after use.
- Clean and disinfect the wound before using Furaderm.
- Apply a thin layer of cream to damaged skin twice a day or more. Protect the wound with a sterile gauze, if necessary.

Contraindications

Do not administer to patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the product’s ingredients.

Warnings and precautions

Do not use the product after the expiry date which is stated on the container.

Keep the product out of the sight and reach of children.

In case of contact with eyes, rinse thoroughly with water.

In case of obvious signs of infection, see a doctor.

Each tube of Furaderm should be used by only one patient in order to
reduce the risk of cross-infection.

Take care of the environment. Do not dispose of the container with household waste; help recycle
it by placing it in the SIGRE Point of the pharmacy.

Adverse reactions

Skin disorders such as application site rash, itching, burning or irritation may occur occasionally with prolonged treatment.
