What Colcúric REDUX^® is:

High levels of uric acid (above 6.8 mg/dl) in the blood induce the formation and subsequent organic accumulation of uric acid crystals, which can cause or aggravate kidney disease, cardiovascular disease or gouty arthritis.

Excess uric acid or hyperuricaemia is closely linked to dietary imbalances, that means, the excessive and continued intake of certain foods rich in purines (such as red and cold meat, offal, blue fish, seafood, tomatoes, carbonated soft drinks, etc.) and also to the excessive consumption of alcoholic beverages. Overweight, type 2 diabetes or the use of diuretics and other drugs are also among the causes of excessive uric acid levels.

Although recommendable, a simple change in dietary habits alone will not achieve a sufficient reduction in plasma uric acid levels². However, the excess of uric acid can be effectively reduced and controlled by the routine use of urate-lowering pharmaceutical products (e.g. Terminalia bellerica extract¹ or other prescription drugs). This regulation of urate levels will be more lasting if, together with the regular intake of a hipouricemic agent, such as Terminalia B. extract (Colcúric REDUX®)¹, sedentary lifestyles and posible overweight are also reduced.

Colcúric REDUX®contains Terminalia bellerica extract, a natural hypouricemic alternative that has been shown in clinical studies to inhibit the enzyme xanthine oxidase, a protein that is directly involved in the production of uric acid.

The formula also includes zinc, which contributes to normal acid-base balance. The intake of this essential micronutrient can reduce the risk of hyperuricaemia, thanks to its antioxidant properties.³

Colcúric REDUX®helps reduce and maintain serum uric acid levels within its normal parameters, preventing its crystallization and avoiding the possible development of pathological conditions linked to the excess of uric acid¹.

How to use Colcúric REDUX^®

Take 1 tablet a day, together with a glass of water (150 ml); preferably after any of the main meals.

Occasionally, your doctor or pharmacist may recommend taking two tablets a day, in a single intake, for a period of time.

Warnings

Do not exceed the expressly recommended daily dose.

Does not contain gluten, sucrose or lactose.
