What Artiseid^® gelFORTE is

Artiseid^® gelFORTE has been developed as a gel for a quicker and more comfortable application to the skin over flexion, joint or lumbar areas. Applied with a gentle massage, Artiseid^® gelFORTE will be quickly absorbed right at the moment of application, leaving the treated area with a pleasant and lasting sensation of relief and wellbeing.

Artiseid^® gelFORTE formula contains boosted concentrations of Cannabidiol (CBD) and cayenne pepper extract (Capsicum frutescens) completed with tested concentrations of Harpagophytum (Harpagophytum procumbens, 2%), Arnica (Arnica montana) and of essential oils of Gaultheria (Gaultheria procumbens), Cinnamon (Cinnamomum zeylanicum), Rosemary (Rosmarinus officinalis) and Cajeput (Melaleuca leucadendron cajuputi).

CB2 receptors of the endocannabinoid system are to be found throughout the body, especially in keratinocytes: the cells that make up 90% of our skin. These receptors are responsible for emitting signals to which the brain responds by releasing beta-endorphins through the central nervous system. Endorphins soothe the sensation of pain.

When applied to the skin, CBD (Cannabidiol) is able to activate these CB2 receptors and, therefore, to stimulate the emission of endorphins without passing into the bloodstream, so that no psychoactive or addictive effect is induced.

The activity of CBD on the skin, added to those of Cayenne extract, Harpagophytum 2%, and Arnica – which contribute to the formula’s thermo-activity and to the acceleration and duration of its effects – produces quick and persistent decongestive, anti-inflammatory, and soothing sensations.

In turn, the unique combination of 4 essential oils (Gaultheria, Cinnamon, Rosemary, and Cajeput) provides a moisturizing and antioxidant effect to the skin of the areas where the massage is applied, thus contributing to musculoskeletal well-being.^1,2

Massaging with Artiseid^® gelFORTE contributes to producing a sensation of relief and comfort. It can be used on the skin of any area of the body; especially on the skin of flexion or mobility zones, such as: back, knees, ankles, neck, wrists, elbows or shoulders.

Artiseid^® gelFORTE gets quickly absorbed, producing a moderate and pleasant thermic effect (heat), very suitable for massages.

Directions for use Artiseid^® gelFORTE

Apply twice a day with a circular massage.

Not suitable for children under the age of 3, pregnant or nursing women.

Use only for intended use. Store in a cool, dark place between 5-25ºC. Do not freeze.
